Our favorite spot for the bride is the Lakeside Cottage, which feels serene and set apart so there’s still a moment of calm before the day begins. Meanwhile, the groom and his party can gather in one of the nearby cabins with amazing views of the woods or lake. Because the estate is entirely yours for the weekend (with luxury cottages, cabins and houses all on-site), your celebration doesn't feel rushed. Guest lodging, prep rooms and ceremony spaces are all conveniently located in the same gorgeous setting.
Ceremony Options with a View
One of Cedar Lakes’ best features is the large variety of ceremony locations. You can say "I do" on the mountaintop field of wildflower grasses, or choose the amphitheater-style deck right by the lake, surrounded by spectacular trees. There is also the Winter Garden, which is outdoors, and set beneath 15,000 twinkle lights that make the evening shine. Their newest addition, The Glasshouse, announced in 2025, is a 3,500-sq. ft building that features folding glass doors, a glass atrium ceiling, heated bluestone floors, and a stone fireplace. The Glasshouse serves as a year-round space, so you don't have to worry about the weather for your ceremony (yay)!

When it comes to the reception, Cedar Lakes delivers on both scale and intimacy. The 6,200-sq. ft. barn is a true show-stopper, boasting reclaimed wood walls, floor-to-ceiling glass panels with breathtaking lake views, crystal chandeliers, and a 24-foot prohibition-style bar. The Barn Patio, a 3,000-sq. ft. veranda right by lake is ideal for cocktail hour as the sun sets. Something that makes this venue truly unique is that tables, chairs, glassware and flatware are already included in key site-fee packages, meaning your décor budget can focus on elevated accents rather than basics.

In our experience, the culinary program at Cedar Lakes Estate is a top luxury feature. Their chef-led team sources directly from their on-site garden and local purveyors to create menus that feel elevated and taste delicious.
